On Saturday 14th September, our school was invited to take part in a procession to celebrate the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The celebration started with a gathering at Holy Rood Church, and was followed by a procession that went from Holy Rood Junior School, to Holy Cross Primary School, then to Drove School and finally Holy Rood Infant School. Our Chaplains represented Holy Cross school and read the prayers in front of a big congregation. It was a lovely gathering, made even more enjoyable by the sunny weather.
