In Year 3, on World Book Day, the children read the story, 'On sudden Hill'. It is a story about two children who spend their days playing on Sudden Hill. They use their cardboard boxes to imagine different worlds – they fight dragons, journey into space and dance on top of skyscrapers. But one day, Shu arrives. He has finally plucked up the courage to ask them if he can join in too. The three begin playing together, but one of the children struggles with the changes to his friendship. Can two friends become three?
