On 14th June 2023, Year 6 went to Clifton Cathedral to celebrate their end of year with other schools in our Diocese.
The day began with a wonderful Mass that focused on 'Mission in our local community'. All schools provided a piece of artwork to celebrate how their school has helped the community. Holy Cross presented Patariki the Penguin to show how we have participated in our local community. All the children sang beautifully in the Mass and were a credit to Holy Cross.
After the Mass, Year 6 went to the Downs to have their lunch and even got an ice cream (which was much needed in the heat).
