Wow! What a fantastic final term we have had in Year 2, from growing plants to having a mysterious iron robot in our school grounds. The children have had a fantastic final term and it has been a joy to see how much they have all grown and blossomed over the last year.

In English, we have been reading the Iron Man and it was definitely a hit. We created our very own villain and then wrote an alternative ending to the Iron Man using our villains. There was some fantastic writing. In History, we have been learning all about the Titanic, we have thought about how we can stop a disaster like this from happening again and also became detectives and thought about who or what could have caused the disaster to happen in the first place.

Finally, we had our sports day – it was a wonderful morning, the sun was shining and there was definitely some healthy competition between houses. Congratulations Class of Year 2 2022-2023, we are all so proud of you and wish you a happy summer holidays and all the best for Year 3.
