This term we made poison dart frogs. We learned how to do the blanket stitch, and the running stitch. All of us made a poison dart frog independently and successfully.

Step 1
We started by choosing the unique designs such as stripes, dots and many other patterns and designs we chose vibrant such as orange, green, red, hot pink and much more. We put all our body parts in our plastic wallets.
Step 2
Next, we started to practise the different sewing techniques such as the running stitch and blanket stitch. First, we sowed on our eyes onto our body then the arms and legs using the running stitch. Then we sowed the other part on using the blanket stitch but we left some space for the beans to go in.
Step 3
We filled the frog with the beans and then continued the blanket stich till all was sewn on. We had parents and grandparents helping us! Then, we tested it to see if any beans would fall. We took photos with our poison dark frogs for our evaluation.
