Wow, what a start to Year 2 we have had! We have had so much fun this term. We have been learning all about the Jolly Postman and we have written him some amazing letters. Next week we are going to make some yummy biscuits of the houses where he delivers his letters. We have also been learning about Villages, Towns and Cities, we now know the four countries of the UK and also what features we would find in each settlement. In Maths, we have been learning all about place value, and we particularly enjoyed taking our shoes off to help us count in 2’s! Finally, we have been learning all about Animals including Humans in Science, we have been learning about exercise and hygiene. We definitely enjoyed going out onto the field completing different exercises to help find out what effect exercise can have on our heart rate!
