We started our Term 2 with the Autumnal theme. The children created foxes, badgers and hedgehogs using used old newspapers and paper plates. We spoke to the children about animals like the hedgehogs and how they are on the verge of extinction. We discussed how we can help them and take them to rescue centres, if we find them abandoned in our gardens.

Christmas Time
The children made Rocking Santas, Frosty the Snowman, Spiral Christmas Trees and Baubles using the paper plates. The children also created a 3D Christmas tree using kitchen roll cores and green card. Finally, the children got together as a team and did a whole Christmas art project, which was a handprinted Christmas tree decorated with pom poms and glitter. We spoke about the importance of praying for less fortunate families, who struggle to provide festive food and presents to their loved ones.
