This term we have been learning about the Great Fire of London. We have really enjoyed learning about how the fire started, the causes of the fire and how wood is a flammable material. We went on a fire station trip and saw the fire equipment, got to go on a fire engine ride and also got to practice shooting the target down with the hose. Some of us even got to go and see where the firemen and women sleep and their living quarters. In Science, we have been learning about materials and their suitability. This helped us when we redesigned London to stop a disaster like the Great Fire happening again. We have wrapped this fantastic term up by writing some amazing Great Fire of London poetry and enjoying all of the Christmas festivities.
