This year in maths week, year 5 focused on area and perimeter. We spent the first two days finding are and perimeter of shapes. After that, we then went on to creating a tiny house. We used our knowledge of area and perimeter to fill our tiny house with objects such as beds, televisions, refrigerators and so on. The children loved becoming developers this week. We then went on a maths trail around the school solving different maths problems
