In Year 5, we have been studying the book, ‘Clockwork,’ by Philip Pullman. As part of our work on the book, we stepped into the characters shoes and did some drama and role play. This helped us to understand the characters better. What were their thoughts and feelings? Why did they act that way? We then applied this to our writing in a letter opening.
