This term in Guided Reading, we have been reading the book, Danny the Champion of the World. The book is about a little boy called Danny and his father. His father had a secret. He was a poacher. A poacher is someone who hunts animals, kills and eats them. Danny and his dad are going on a final mission to save the pheasants from Mr Victor Hazell. We have really enjoyed the book. Our favourite part was Chapter 12, when we met the teachers. They're not like the teachers in our school!
