Wow, what a start to Year 2 we have had! We have had so much fun this term. We have been learning all about the Jolly Postman and how he goes about his job. We have written letters to a real-life Postman to ask him about his job and we have sent him the letters. Next term, he will be visiting Year 2 to answer the questions we have asked him about what it's like being a postman.
In the story, the Jolly Postman visited many characters such as: Goldilocks and the three bears, the Wicked Witch from Hansel and Gretel, the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood. Also, Goldilocks has an 8th birthday party and so we designed, made and evaluated some yummy biscuits that could have been at the party.
