What a busy start we have had to life in Year 6. We began the term by learning about the poetry of Andrew Fusek Peters and then wrote our own versions of ‘Last Night I Saw the City Breathing’. We enjoyed using different features of poetry writing such as metaphors, similes, personification, alliteration and rhyme. Here are a few examples of our wonderful work!
