In Science, Year 1 learned about the parts of our body and our senses.
In one lesson, we explored our 5 senses by: tasting food with different kinds of tastes; touching objects with different textures; listening to different musical instruments; smelling spices and foods and looking at things around the school with magnifying glasses. We know which body parts stimulate each sense and we learnt a song to help us remember these things called, ‘I Got Five.’
