Year 5 recently enjoyed a fantastic free Discovery Day at the new Swindon Museum and Art Gallery. The students stepped into a magical world of exploration as they investigated fascinating stories behind artworks, artefacts, and historical figures.
Throughout the day, they participated in a variety of hands-on activities, including role play, creating sound effects, using props, dressing up, and developing their own stories. These engaging experiences helped to enhance their oracy and literacy skills, while also encouraging imaginative thinking. It was a wonderful opportunity for Year 5 to learn in a fun, creative environment!
