On Thursday 6th March, Mrs Bibi came to teach Year 6 a little about the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan. The children were fascinated to learn that the date of Ramadan changes and is all dependent on the lunar cycle and that people who partake in this Holy month of fasting are not allowed to eat or drink anything during daylight hours. The Year 6 children were very inquisitive about the Muslim faith and were asking Mrs Bibi many questions comparing the Catholic faith to the Muslim faith for example, asking whether or not they believed in Jesus and his resurrection.
