In our class assembly, we spoke about the Anglo- Saxons and how they valued loyalty and community to all. We sang songs about how they lived and the different gods that they worshipped. We also acted out the story of the ‘Good Samaritan’ and how we should help others. We finished the assembly by singing ‘Lean on Me’ by Bill Withers.
