For the Creation topic in Year 5 the children discussed and gave evidence about whether they thought the creation stories were true. They looked at Laudato Si’, a letter from Pope Francis’ to every person on the planet, asking people to protect and take care of our common home, the Earth. They wrote a letter back to Pope Francis to tell him how they planned to look after God’s creation. They also visited the Richard Jefferies museum in Swindon where they learnt everything starts with nature.
